Nurse Wellness Coach
Qualification:
- Associate’s in nursing; BSN preferred.
- Valid RN license (Connecticut, New York license, or Valid RN Compact), depending on which accounts will be managed.
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist through ADCES preferred.
- Health & Wellness Coach Certification through Wellcoaches preferred
- 4 – 6 years of relevant, professional work experience, including 3 + years of clinical experience. (R)
- Experience with managing a large volume of populations with various acuity levels. (R)
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types and levels of audience. (R)
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Must possess substantial clinical skills and a passion for health improvement. (R)
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment. (R)
- Proficient with computers (MS Office apps), electronic medical records systems, automated environment to support multiple technology platforms, and standard office equipment. (R)
- Proficiency with the use of remote technology (Smartphone, wireless laptop, virtual conference tools, etc.).
- Bilingual language skills. (P)
- Ability and willingness to work some evenings, weekends, holidays, and off-hours to accommodate population needs. (R)
- Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Coaching. (P)
- Reliable transportation for on site positions (R)

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business considerations. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the work is being performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. Union roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement will compensate in accordance with the union contract.
